My originals are only available through my gallery or this website. I mostly work in traditional oil on canvas but still do some watercolours and occasionally an acrylic. My subjects are limited only by my interests.
Many of my paintings are available in limited edition of 100 or less and in three different prices and sizes per image. Any questions? Just ask. From digital capture, to print and stretch, to framing it's all done here in studio/gallery.
Over the last 30 years I have completed numerous paintings for clients. If the subject and project are something that I feel I can do justice to, it is always a pleasure to help bring that to life in oil paint. All commissions require a 50% deposit once accepted and the work begun.
I hold a series of painting classes in my gallery here throughout the year. It's a nice atmosphere to learn to paint or "brush" up on your skills. "Learn by technique" is how I try to help out those wanting to start. By understanding how to see the world and adapt techniques to duplicate the textures and shapes one sees ..that is the key. In a set of 3 hour classes over 6 sessions we normally work through at least two paintings..I cover painting mixing, colour, application and materials.
It's a "paint as you go" for those starting out..I paint the demo image in stages ..allowing time for you to do the same..under my guidance.
The class sizes are kept small so that everyone gets plenty of one-on-one instruction.

It has been made a cause of mine to bring back these images to life. Once enlarged these small photos cease becoming a dusty reflection of the past and become a full fledged story of their own..some yet to be told
